We are off to Mull.

Next week we will be starting a house in Bunessan on the isle of Mull.  Ross or myself had never been to Mull before, we imagined it would be small but there must be a Mcdonalds at least!  NO!!

We took a day out to go up and get organised a week before it is set to start.

The ferry was about 45 minutes, we didnt realise you had to book on but we were fine we managed to squeeze on.

This was the road from the ferry terminal to the site.  About an hour we were on this road and there was nothing anywhere! Nothing apart from trees, grass and hills.  It was beautiful.

Above is a beach halfway between the site and the place where we are staying.  We asked a few locals for directions and they seemed shocked at our pronunciation of ‘Fidden’  -   We thought it was pretty straight forward but you say it  ‘Fid-yen’  We stand corrected!

Above is the house we will be building.  We will be doing the full build from foundation all the way through to decorating.  As always on any sort of job the hardest bit is babysitting grown men,
